Ascension Global Staffing & Executive Search is seeking a Mid-level to Senior Associate or Special Counsel with solid defense litigation experience to join its Miami or Fort Lauderdale office(s).
This is an excellent opportunity for ambitious lawyers to join a growing, competitive law firm with a diversified global practice.
Candidates should have a strong litigation background and a willingness to work in-office as needed (hybrid schedule).
Required experience
- Minimum of 5 years defense litigation experience
- Proficient in taking depositions and trial experience a plus
- Ability to interact with clients, draft pleadings and discovery demands, conduct depositions, perform legal research and draft dispositive motions
- Excellent research, writing and communication skills
- Substantive familiarity with the rules and procedures of the Florida Courts is a must
- Must be licensed to practice in Florida
- Licensed to practice in other jurisdictions a plus
