About The Position
Job Title : Registered Nurse Job Specialty : GI Lab Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Monday-Friday, 6 : 30 AM - 5 : 00 PM Guaranteed Hours : Full-time Experience : Minimum of 2 years within GI Lab specialty License : Registered Nurse (RN) Certifications : - Required : BLS - Preferred : ACLS Must-Have : - SGNA Associates Program Certificate for GI Techs - Ability to pass a color acuity screening test Job Description : - Attend to both inpatient and outpatient endoscopy procedural areas.
- Staff pre-op, procedure, and recovery areas.- Handle a fluctuating case load day-to-day.- Assist with various types of GI and pulmonary interventional procedures.
- Holiday work expectations include : - Must work 2 major holidays out of Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day.
- Must work 1 minor holiday out of the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year’s Eve. This position provides an opportunity to work in a dynamic and diverse environment, supporting patients through critical procedures and ensuring their comfort and safety throughout their stay.
