Job Summary :
The Maintenance Electro-Mechanical Technician provides electronic, electrical, and mechanical support at the manufacturing facility.
The role involves serving as a technical resource for maintenance reliability issues and overseeing projects supported by the maintenance department.
Job Duties :
- Resource for PLC, AC / DC variable speed drive, and electrical controls problem-solving.
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance.
- Manage electrical projects supported by the maintenance department.
- Support shift maintenance teams in troubleshooting efforts, including after-hour call-ins.
- Ensure strict adherence to electrical code and OSHA safety requirements.
- Provide input for preventive and predictive maintenance to enhance overall equipment reliability.
- Uphold departmental standards for safety, sanitation, and housekeeping.
- Support the introduction of new technology.
- Lead and train maintenance electricians as directed by the Maintenance Manager.
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or G.E.D required
- Ability to work all shifts and perform overtime
- Previous experience as a quality control inspector preferred.
- Willingness for future training and / or education to enhance job skills.
- Proficient in reading, interpreting documents, and effective communication
- Ability to move and / or lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
