Program Manager
The Deputy Program Manager will support the Program Manager in leading the MUOS SLE program team to deliver a successful program that meets customer requirements and expectations for the Phase 2 effort. The Deputy Program Manager will be responsible for assisting in the development and execution of program plans, schedules, and budgets, as well as ensuring that all program activities are conducted in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Support the Program Manager in developing and executing program plans, schedules, and budgets
Experience with the MUOS program or similar satellite communications programs
Experience with agile program management methodologies
Assist in the management of program risks, issues, and opportunities
Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and test, to ensure program requirements are met
Develop and maintain program metrics and reports to track progress and performance
Support the development of program proposals, contracts, and agreements
Assist in the management of program finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and earned value management
Coordinate with customers, stakeholders, and suppliers to ensure program requirements are met and expectations are exceeded
Support the development and implementation of program processes and procedures
Assist in the identification and mitigation of program risks and issues
Support the development of program lessons learned and best practices
Requirements :
Minimum 15 years of experience in program management or a related aerospace field
Experience with government contracting and procurement regulations (e.g. FAR, DFARS)
Experience with earned value management (EVM) and other program management tools and techniques
Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience with MS Office and other program management software tools
Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g. engineering, business, or management)
Certification in program management (e.g. PMP, PMI-ACP)
Experience with lean six sigma or other process improvement methodologies

Pay Rate : The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $151,200 - $266,570. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education / training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
