Job Description : Role Synopsis
This role reports to the BPX Energy Lead Category Manager for Midstream & Facilities and will support the BPX Midstream team as a Procurement and Supply Chain Management Senior Category Manager.
Specific categories supporting may include multiple of the following : Midstream Brownfield Construction, Powerline and Substation Construction, Midstream New Facilities Construction, Midstream Equipment, Pipeline Inspections & Maintenance, I&E PM / CMs, PSV testing, Dehydration System Filters, Inspections & IM, Rotating Equipment Purchases & Maintenance and Others as assigned. Provides strategic, analytical and tactical support to the BPX Midstream organization and Category Team. Responsible for developing and executing strategies for assigned categories. Ensures deployment and execution of common systems and processes for supply chain activities in designated categories. Establishes and manages supplier relationships and contract compliance.
This role is responsible for taking ownership of and improving the relationship with Midstream team and delivers value through exhibiting BPX values and establishing effective interfaces with customers, the Head of Procurement, PSCM Category and Operations teams.

High school diploma with 8 years of additional relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a college degree.
