Laborer-Finishing

Core Functions :

• General cleaning of the process and finishing equipment as well as the buildings and grounds.
• Cleaning and sanitizing of production lines and tank farms
• Transport various items throughout the plant with a forklift.
• The operation and maintenance of the hot water pressure washer.
• Cleaning / flushing the plant sewer system.
• Perform all assignments satisfactorily, safely, and maintain good attendance
• Ability to have delegated tasks changed throughout the shift as needed.
• Ability to work OT as needed.
• Fork Truck Operation
• Other duties as assigned

Skill / Experience Requirements :

• High school diploma or equivalent are preferred but not required.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Preferred but not required completion of the Petrochemical Class at JJC or relative years’ experience.
• Basic Math Skills

Additional Notes :

• Must be able to work in the outside environment throughout the year.
• Must be able to follow detailed work instructions.
• Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs. repeatedly throughout the shift.
• Must be able to climb ladders and comfortable working at heights.
• Must be self-directed and able to work alone.
• Ability to change jobs due to operation fluctuations.

• This is an hourly / union position
• Must work every other weekend and holidays as scheduled.
• 12 Hour Shift, 7am to 7pm or 7pm to style "font-family : Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">
