Doyle Security Services, Inc. (DSS) is seeking an experienced Security Operation Center (SOC) Supervisor for a corporate location in Midtown Manhattan.

SCHEDULES AVAILABLE :

Schedule 1 : Sunday - Thursday 0000 - 0800

Schedule 2 : Friday - Monday 0800 - 1600

PAYRATE : $23.00 - $24.00 an hour

JOB SUMMARY :

SOC Operator, you are responsible for monitoring a variety of technologies including access control, video surveillance, and alarm systems to provide security service and threat elimination for a variety of facilities.

As a SOC Operator you are continuously monitoring and improving the security posture of our client while detecting, analyzing, and responding to incidents.

You will be working from the client's location performing a centralized function, utilizing security processes, and technology to continuously monitor and improve protection.

Your responsibility is to prevent unauthorized access, detect, analyze, document, and respond to incidents. May perform other tasks as required by client.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE :

High School Diploma or G.E.D., and 2 years of related training or experience, including sufficient to meet the requirements of position, or an equivalent combination of college education and experience, as determined by the company.

CCure 9000 software familiarity or equivalent system a plus.

COMPETENCIES (as demonstrated through experience, training, and / or testing) :

  • Must be Reliable!
  • Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements.
  • Must be able to meet and continue to meet requirements for specific skills, certifications or authorizations specified for the assignment.
  • Knowledge of security operations and procedures.
  • Knowledge of supervisory practices and procedures.
  • Ability to supervise staff, including assigning work and providing training and discipline.
  • Ability to provide positive direction and motivate performance.
  • Understanding of a variety of security and safety devices and controls
  • Ability to learn quickly and carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagrammatic form.
  • Ability to track and maintain schedule assignments.
  • Ability to be an effective team member.
  • Ability to maintain professional composure when dealing with unusual circumstances.
  • Courteous telephone manner.
  • Ability to adapt to various changes in SOC protocols.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Strong customer service and results orientation.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, at various social levels and across diverse cultures.
