Our Ads Measurement Signal and Privacy team (MSP) is missioned to build our security and governance infrastructure and process for the ads system end-to-end while making sure our platform with large volume of various signals and data are constantly compliant with regional regulations across the world.

The team will be responsible for exploring and implementing cutting-edge privacy-enhancing technologies to protect our users while keeping TikTok a free and creative community.

You will be a key player in data privacy, protection, security and managing cross-functional programs to continuously improve the process.

  • Participate in the development of a large-scale Ads system.
  • Responsible for the development of state-of-the-art applied machine learning projects.
  • Own key targeting components or strategies in the TikTok ads monetization ecosystem.
  • Work with product and business teams on product vision.

Minimum Qualifications

  • PhD degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other relevant majors.
  • Solid programming skills, including but not limited to : Go, C / C++, Python. Familiar with basic data structure and algorithms.
  • Good analytical thinking capability. Have essential knowledge and skills in statistics.
  • Good theoretical grounding in the machine and deep learning concepts and techniques (CNN / RNN / LSTM, .
  • Familiar with the architecture and implementation of at least one mainstream machine learning programming framework (TensorFlow / PyTorch / MXNet), familiar with its architecture and implementation mechanism.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills. Preferred Qualifications
  • Good understanding in one of the following domains : ads bidding & auction, ads quality control, and online advertising systems (familiar with one or more of these terms : CPC / CPM, CTR / CVR, Ranking / Targeting, Conversion / Budget, Campaign / Creative, Demand / Inventory, DSP / RTB).
  • Experience in resource management and task scheduling with large-scale distributed software (such as Spark and TensorFlow).
