The Lubrizol Additives North America Supply Chain Director is a key leadership position reporting to the Sr. Director, LZA Global Supply Chain.
In this role, you will be responsible for providing leadership and guidance to the Supply Planning and Customer Experience teams based in the U.
S., with primary focus on the execution horizon. To be successul, you will use your proficiency in Sales & Operations Execution, Customer Service operations and Integrated Business Planning, and have a successful track record of aligning cross-functional teams to execute agreed upon supply plans and deliver high levels of customer satisfaction.

What You'll Do
- Manage and lead a team of Supply Planning and Customer Experience Managers, providing guidance, training, and support of the supply chain processes within the execution horizon (0-3 months) and collaborating effectively with counterparts in other regions and functions to optimize the global supply plan.
- Manage the regional NA supply chain organization of 60 people to meet customer service, working capital and cost productivity expectations within LZA.
- Accountable for appropriate translation of the aggregate supply plans into production schedules, aligned with the demand signal and defined materials management strategies.
- Coach and mentor supply chain professionals to grow their functional and leadership capabilities.
- Partner with the NA Commercial, Operations, Procurement and Logistics leadership to ensure execution processes are aligned with business plans.
- Interface with customers as needed to communicate strategy, address concerns and solve problems that improve the customer experience, in support of commercial goals.
- Effectively communicate status of the supply chain, identify risks and lead implementation of risk mitigation strategies.
- Establish a robust Sales & Operations Execution process for the region. Collaborate with the Supply Chain Center of Excellence and peers to leverage learnings and advance best practices adoption across Lubrizol.
- Establish a data-based performance management system for supply chain operations to continuously improve the supply chain business processes and associated KPIs.
Identify and implement supply chain initiatives to improve efficiencies, cost, working capital productivity and customer service levels.
- Represent the Supply Chain function in regional leadership events. Actively participate in strategy development and deployment.
- Visible advocate of Lubrizol standard supply chain processes.
Skills That Make A Difference :
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or Logistics. MBA or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Finance or equivalent preferred.
- At least 7 yrs experience in Supply Chain (Demand Planning, Supply Planning, and Inventory Management).
- Minimum of 10 years in manufacturing companies, with at least 5 years in process industries, chemicals sector preferred.
- People management and development experience.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with demonstrated experience in successfully leading and managing change.
- Knowledge and experience in MRP and ERP systems : inventory control, materials requirements planning, production scheduling, master data management, demand planning, order fulfillment.
- Able to communicate effectively (verbal and written) with senior management, peers, customers, and colleagues around the world.
- Experience in utilizing Lean principles, structured problem solving and Continuous Improvement methodologies to improve business results.
Lean Six Sigma certification preferred.
- Data-driven. Familiarity with advanced supply chain planning and analytics preferred.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- APICS certification preferred.
