What to Expect (Job Responsibilities) :
- Independently design, develop, modify, and test software units according to corporate software process documents
- Identify opportunities in software processes and implement proposals to address gaps
- Manage external vendors and resources to ensure deliverables and timelines are met
- Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior and mid-level engineers
- Develop, execute, and verify unit and integration tests, utilizing Test Driven Development (TDD)
What is Required (Qualifications) :
- 8 years of experience in cloud or web application software development or a related area
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer sciences, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Expert knowledge of C# and .NET Core
- Extensive experience designing, developing, and testing containerized micro-services
- Proficient in formal software test methodologies, such as Test Driven Development (TDD)
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications) :
- Experience with an enterprise messaging bus (e.g., Event Hubs, Kafka, Kinesis)
- Familiarity with cloud technologies in Azure and / or AWS
- Knowledge of Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
