Job Description\n

American Traveler is hiring a Pediatric Echo Tech / Cardiac Sonographer with ARDMS, RDCS PE, and BLS certifications and at least 1 year of experience.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in an inpatient and outpatient echo lab serving neonate through geriatric patients
  • Daily caseload averages 10 echocardiograms
  • Utilizes Philips Epiq machines and Merge PACS for imaging and documentation
  • Four 10-hour day shifts per week from 7 : 00 AM to 5 : 30 PM
  • Rotating on-call requirement from 7 : 30 AM to 7 : 00 AM on select days and some weekends
  • Weekend coverage required every fourth weekend with some flexibility
  • No floating to sister facilities or other units
  • EPIC charting system experience required
  • Perform echocardiograms for a wide range of patients including neonates and geriatrics
  • No local candidates accepted, 75 mile radius rule applies
  • First-time travelers will be considered for this position
  • Modules must be completed during orientation within the first 8 hours
  • Up to 7 days of requested time off allowed during 13-week assignment
  • On-call rotations include both weekday and weekend coverage

  • Current ARDMS, ARDMS RDCS PE, and BLS certifications required
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Echo Tech / Cardiac Sonographer
  • Pediatric and adult echo experience required
  • Experience with EPIC charting system required
  • License required if applicable
