This Senior .Net Developer / Architect role will be part of an agile development group, building and working on enterprise grade software systems on top of the Microsoft .
NET development stack. This position reports to the Director of Software Development.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with other software developers, business analysts and architects to plan, design, develop, test
- Participate in peer-reviews of solution designs and related code
- Package and support deployment of releases
- Provide support to business users as necessary
- Relies on diverse experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
- Works under minimal supervision
- A wide degree of creativity and latitude is required
TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Experience with source control systems (TFS) and continuous integration / deployment environments
- Experience with agile development methodologies
- Experience with debugging, performance profiling and optimization
- Comprehensive understanding of object-oriented and service-oriented application development techniques
- 2+ years of full stack .NET : C#, ASP.NET, AJAX, WebForms, MVC, JavaScript, JQuery, CSS
- In depth knowledge and experience with service layer technologies including : WCF, SOAP, Web API, SSO
- In depth knowledge and experience with SQL Server and ORM technologies
- Exposure to open source libraries (Angular, Bootstrap, Knockout, JQuery UI)
- Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS, ELB, EC2, SES, Message Queues) a plus
- Exposure to Excel and Word VSTO Add-Ins a plus
- Exposure to an automated testing framework (Selenium) a plus
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience
