SUMMARY :
We are currently seeking a Pharmacist Intern to join our Community Pharmacy team. This position is part-time, 16 hours per period, , no benefits, day / evening shifts and one shift every other weekend, 4-8 hour shifts. We will be interested in interviewing UMN pharmacy school students who are currently enrolled in their 1st year of pharmacy school (i.e. anticipated graduation year 2029).
Required work schedule include :
Either a 4- or 8-hours shift depending on the day and location
Up to 40-hour work weeks between our Community Pharmacy locations
Purpose of this position : Responsible for acting as an information resource to patients, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals regarding medication therapy and drug-related information and literature. Maintains
standards set by the department and translates policies and procedures into the daily operation of the
pharmacy. Performs within scope of practice as defined by the Minnesota Board of Pharmacy.
