Absolute Jobs is currently seeking a proficient Diesel Technician for a position based in Grand Prairie, TX. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diesel engines and possess expertise in maintaining and servicing various machinery, equipment, and vehicles.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Inspects, diagnoses, repairs, and maintains motor coaches, commercial and non-commercial vehicles and other vehicles
- Understands and adheres to all company safety policies and procedures
- Compliance with all local, State, and Federal regulations applicable to operations, buildings, grounds, and personnel including EPA, OSHA, and DOT
- Specific duties and responsibilities are determined by Individual Service Technician training, certification, knowledge, skill, and experience
- Other Duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications :
- CNG Certification
- Requires good organizational skills to include the ability to effectively manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and complete assignments within expected time frames
- Employee must possess the tools necessary to complete assigned responsibilities
- Previous experience with Body and Frame Repairs
- Experience with Interior Component repair / replacement
- Audio / Video knowledge recommended not required
Skills :
- Must be a self-starter and possess a positive attitude
- Must have a good attendance
- Must be willing to travel, with possible work on the weekends / overtime
Physical Demands :
- Ability to frequently move items weighing up to 100 pounds.
