Requirements of the Registered Nurse
We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse for a position at our substance use disorder facility located in Deerfield Beach, FL
Qualifications
- Experience working in behavioral health, addiction, and substance abuse settings required
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing with a minimum of associate degree
- Current Florida State License as a Registered Nurse
- IV & Phlebotomy proficiency preferred
- Knowledge of drug classifications and respective medication protocol
- KIPU knowledge preferred
- Current CPR Certification
- Proof of Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) Training or obtaining
Essential Job Function of the Registered Nurse - part-time shift 7 : 00 AM to 7 : 30 PM
- Executes prescribed treatments and medical interventions, including transcribing and administering routine and prescribed medications in accordance with procedures established by the Medical Director and Director of Nursing
- Excels at performing vigilant observation
- Completes documentation of patient's medical histories and current symptoms
- Specializes in the provision of pain management treatment through the initial process of detoxification
