As a Senior Manager, Strategic Sourcing HR Services & Contingent Labor Procurement , you will be trusted to work on leading and managing strategic procurement initiatives related to HR services and Contingent Labor, with a strong focus on Alcon’s Managed Service Providers (MSP) and Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) management.
This role will build strong partnerships with HR, Legal, Finance, and external vendors to optimize costs, enhance service quality, ensure compliance, and strategically manage workforce-related procurement activities at Fort Worth, TX .
In this role, a typical day will include :
- Lead global RPO and MSP strategies to support talent acquisition and workforce management.
- Negotiate and manage contracts with RPO and MSP partners, defining program objectives, KPIs and SLAs.
- Develop and execute a strategy for managing contingent labor, ensuring efficient and compliant management.
- Manage relationships with contingent workforce partners and third-party service providers.
- Conduct regular vendor performance reviews and implement supplier risk management strategies.
- Oversee HR-Related procurement activities, identifying and implementing cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, labor laws, and regulations, overseeing contractual risks.
- Collaborate with HR, Legal, IT, Talent Acquisition, and Diversity & Inclusion teams to align solutions with business objectives.
- Use data analytics to assess HR services and contingent workforce partners, tracking key procurement metrics.
- Provide insights and reports to senior leadership to support strategic decision-making and continuous improvement.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON :
- Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school+15 yrs; Assoc.+11 yrs; M.S.+4 yrs; PhD+3 yrs)
- The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English
- 7 Years of Relevant Experience
- Travel : Up to 15%
Preferred requirements :
- Expertise in MSP and RPO models, standard methodologies, and industry trends, with strong negotiation, communication, and customer management skills.
- Proven track record to lead cross functional teams and handle complex procurement projects, making data-driven decisions with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in procurement systems (e.g., SAP, Ariba) and Microsoft Office Suite, delivering results on tight deadlines.
- Strategic thinker focused on continuous improvement and effective relationship building, both internally and externally.
- Comfortable managing ambiguity and complexity in a fast-paced, global environment.
