Job Overview : Responsible for providing housekeeping services to provide a sparkling clean, hygienic and safe environment that is patient and family centered. Routinely cleans patient's rooms in a timely manner after discharge of patients. Cleans nursing units, surgical areas, offices, laboratory areas, waiting areas, public restrooms, and other areas as assigned. Provides linen services throughout the facility. Monitors the facility with a critical eye to catch those items that need cleaning and attention. Uses cleaning supplies and equipment as regulated to provide a safe cleaning environment. Must be able to work with cleaning supplies in a safe manner. Able to multi-task with safety practices. Demonstrates service excellence at all times. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications : High School graduate or Equivalent preferred. Prior housekeeping experience, preferred. Basic computer skills to enter patient room turnover. Works independently.
