Must hold current certification in echocardiography as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) via ARDMS or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) via CCI. A minimum of 1 year of experience as an Echo Tech required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Location : Denver, CO

Assignment Length : 13 weeks

Schedule : Full-time, Days (specific shift details provided during interview)

Required Certifications & Licensure :

RDCS Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer or

RCS Registered Cardiac Sonographer

Job Summary :

The Echo Tech will perform a variety of diagnostic cardiac and vascular ultrasound exams under physician direction to identify abnormalities for patient diagnosis.

Key Responsibilities :

Conduct ultrasound procedures using high-frequency sound waves to evaluate internal organs and vessels for disease diagnosis.

Prepare exam rooms, obtain informed consent, and gather accurate patient histories.

Select proper protocols based on patient needs, explain procedures, and ensure patient comfort and safety.

Assess patient condition and perform necessary interventions during exams.

Review completed tests for quality and completeness, ensuring optimal imaging results.

Document patient information thoroughly and communicate effectively with physicians, patients, and the care team.

Maintain equipment safety and cleanliness; report issues promptly.

Participate in quality improvement initiatives and uphold professional standards.
