Apex Systems is seeking an experienced DRAFTER to support one of our Semiconductor Clients in the Bay Area!!!
Job title : Drafter
Location : Fremont, CA
Schedule : Hybrid - 3 days onsite (Wednesday, Thursday, your choice), 2 days at home (your choice)
Duration : long term contract with rolling extensions
Work Type : W2
1 Round interview process - 1 hour onsite.
The largest semiconductor company in the Bay Area is looking for a Drafter to join the Etch organization and work on a drafting team supporting 200 engineers and designers.
This candidate will use various software to convert the designs of engineers into technical drawings. Projects can range from hour long jobs to multiple day long jobs.
The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, have a proven ability to multi task, and be a self-starter.
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- 3+ years of experience working as a Drafter directly or handling drafting in design roles
- Experience with Solid works and or Creo, Wildfire
- High level of competency with drafting standards
- Looking for positive, growth minded individuals who can work independently and in team settings
- BS or Associates in relevant field (Electrical, mechanical, CS, etc.)
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Experience with NX CAD Software
- Experience working as a Machinist / in machining environment
- Semiconductor industry exp
