About The Position
Job Title : Operating Room Technician Job Specialty : Surgery / Operating Room Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 06 : 30 - 19 : 00 Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : Minimum years of experience not specified License : CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) Certifications : BLS (Basic Life Support) Must-Have : Ability to scrub and circulateJob Description : - Work as an integral part of the surgical team in a busy Operating Room environment.
- Participate in surgical procedures including orthopedic joint replacements (hip, knee, shoulder), spine surgeries, cesarean sections, hysterectomies, general exploratory laparotomies, and cholecystectomies.
- Use and manage all surgical equipment effectively.- Handle computerized charting with Meditech and EPIC systems.- Serve a diverse patient population across pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric age groups.
- Be available for on-call duty up to 4 shifts per month and every 7th weekend.- No float requirements within the facility.
- Facility provides scrubs for daily use.This opportunity offers a dynamic work environment and an opportunity to develop a wide range of skills in the operating room setting.
