About the Role
As a Solution Consultant on the HCM - Federal team, you will lead discovery workshops with prospective Federal customers to uncover pain-points and business problems.
You will provide expert overview & deep-dive product demonstrations and position the unique value of Workday HCM. You will conduct executive-level presentations and provide trusted advice and guidance as an industry HCM subject matter expert.
As part of the extended sales team, you will also assist in responding to RFPs, participate in Workday events such as webinars & customer forums and you will attend and support industry conferences & tradeshows.
You will use your in-depth product knowledge to provide ERP expertise to the sales team and the customers. Our Solution Consultants are involved throughout the sales cycle from initial qualification, discovery through tailored product demonstrations, deep dives and including executive level presentations.
You will act as a trusted adviser to prospects and customers and provide consultation on product capability and value.
Responsibilities include :
The delivery of relevant technical product presentations, demonstrations, workshops, and seminars.
To assist in the closure of sales opportunities by demonstrating a complete understanding of and resolving questions regarding our solution, services, and training.
To contribute to the qualification of prospects, proposed demonstration criteria, proof of concept system builds and sales cycle closure plans.
Supporting all sales, marketing, technical and channel objectives.
To assist sales in the response to RFIs.
Ability to travel 50%
About You
Basic Qualifications
4+ years of experience in Federal Presales and / or Consulting
4+ years of experience in HCM Solution Consulting in Federal, including experience across full suite HCM, including expert knowledge of Enterprise (ERP) systems specifically HR, Payroll, Compensation, Benefits, Time Tracking, and HR Finance.
Other Qualifications :
Pre-sales / Sales Consulting experience with HCM enterprise business solutions
Unrivaled professional presentation, communication, and decision-maker influencing skills; expert knowledge of Human Capital Management software.
Ability to enthusiastically communicate Workday’s unique value and to demonstrate HCM solutions
Experience of valued based selling
Ability to work under pressure and work on multiple projects individually as well as being part of different teams.
