Virtual School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location : Remote (Students reside in Colorado)
Position Type : Part-Time Contract 24 / 25 School Year
Pay : $50 / Hour
Responsibilities :
- Conduct virtual assessments to evaluate students' speech, language, and communication skills.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs.
- Provide direct therapy services through online platforms, utilizing evidence-based practices.
- Monitor and document students' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students' overall educational goals.
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing expert input on speech and language goals and progress.
- Offer guidance and training to parents and educators on strategies to support speech and language development.
- Stay current with best practices in speech-language pathology and integrate new techniques into therapy sessions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in compliance with state and federal regulations.
Qualifications :
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current Colorado state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
- Experience working in a school setting, with a strong understanding of IEP processes.
- Proficiency with virtual therapy platforms and teletherapy best practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
