Wound Care Medical Director
A company is looking for a Wound Care Medical Director in Corrections.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee advanced practice nurses and registered nurses providing virtual consultations for inmate wound careMonitor and improve clinical key performance indicators to ensure quality and compliance in the corrections wound care programEstablish relationships with corrections facility physicians and engage in client reporting strategiesRequired Qualifications, Training, and EducationMD or DO degree from an accredited medical schoolBoard certification in wound careCurrent and valid state medical license;
multi-state licensure preferredMinimum of 5 years' experience in chronic wound treatmentExperience in telemedicine and managing clinical teams
