Position Summary : The Project Engineer / Manager will manage engineering projects, to ensure project goals are achieved in a timely manner. They will lead the planning and development of all project deliverables, and actively create and maintain a visual dashboard of all projects while working directly with the engineering team and with team members of other departments. They will play a key role in maintaining project management procedures.

Responsibilities :

• Ensure the project scope is adequately defined and project executed to address scope / objectives of project
• Ensure that appropriate estimates of time, cost, and resources (with associated details captured) are prepared and maintained for project efforts
• Establish & maintain a detail project schedule(s) / workplan(s) within tool needed for scheduling, tracking and monitoring project progress / results
• Communicate / report project status including financial performance throughout project lifecycle
• Ensure that project approach deploys adequate quality assurance techniques in accordance with company standards
• Obtain project approvals of key milestone deliverables in accordance to the company's project governance standards (e.g., Phase-Gates reviews)
• Work closely with Manager – RD&E to assign resources to project(s) and review resource utilization throughout the project(s)
• Timely identify, track, manage and resolve project issues and risks
• Coordinate with Purchasing for appropriate estimates on vendor requirements and lead times.
• Other duties as assigned

Education : Bachelor's degree; preferably in Electrical Engineering Technology, or Mechanical Engineering Technology or equivalent experience.
