job_description.job_card.job_description27–32 per hour 1.50 per hour shift differential Execute preventive and reactive maintenance to sustain maximum production throughput Own PM schedules and close CMMS work orders on time with required documentation Serve as first responder for machine issues; engage Electrical Engineering when additional support is needed Troubleshoot and repair machines and their controls, including AC / DC motors and drives, downstream equipment, and chillers Specify, source, and order replacement parts and control components with suppliers Support Daily Management directives and plant initiatives Help design and implement Continuous Improvement projects that improve safety and efficiency Partner with Production Staff to ensure safe, reliable operation of plant equipment Proficiency with electrical test equipment : voltmeter, ammeter, ohmmeter, megger Ability to read electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical drawings Understanding of basic machine function and sequence of operations Knowledge of NEC, UL508A, NFPA 79 Strict adherence to Lock Out Tag Out, arc flash, and PPE requirements Electrical formulas and mechanical math Three-phase industrial wiring and power distribution AC, DC, and servo drive / motor experience PLC I / O and networking troubleshooting Motion training with servo drives and motors Microsoft Excel and Word High School or Vocational School diploma or equivalent (required) Technician-level background in electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics (preferred) 2+ years in industrial maintenance, electrical systems, and controls Basic PLC and drive training Plastic process knowledge is a plus Mechanical troubleshooting 120 / 208 / 240 / 480 V systems Electrical troubleshooting and electrical repair Variable Frequency Drives (VFD) Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) including Fanuc, Allen Bradley, Siemens Conveyor systems Servo motors
About the role
We are a stable manufacturing company hiring an Industrial Maintenance Technician II with strong electro-mechanical and multi-craft capabilities to support 2nd shift operations.
When you will work
- 2nd Shift : 3 : 00pm–11 : 30pm, Monday–Friday
- Potential overtime on a daily basis and on weekends
- Flexibility to work 40+ hours per week and fulfill on-call responsibilities for repairs and assistance
