Shift : Nights / 7p-7 : 30a (12x3) 36 hours per week
Length : 13 weeks
Weekend Requirement May be working a lot of Sundays. Weekends are a high need right now.Holiday Requirement Rotate with permanent staff.
Requirements :Other Details :
- Floating Requirements : Yes, most often floating between 4th, 5th or 6th floors (critical care) or to the ER for patient holds.
- Required to titrate drips
of beds 24
- Ratios : 1 : 1, 1 : 2 for ICU level acuity, 1 : 3-4 for PCU level acuity
- Common diagnoses / Types of patients : Sepsis, COPD, Covid, pneumonia, CRRT, IABP, impella, PA catheters. Arctic sun for post cardiac arrest patients.
Recovery of immediate open heart patients. Overflow from cath lab. Post surgical needing longer recovery. - Post interventional caths.
