Retail Pharmacist Day Shift (13-Week Temp-to-Perm) Los Alamos, NM

Summary :

We are seeking a Retail Pharmacist for a 13-week temp-to-perm position in Los Alamos, NM. This high-volume pharmacy averages 600 prescriptions per day and operates on the Pioneer system. Candidates must be flexible with scheduling and open to working rotating weekends.

Schedule :

Monday Friday, 8 : 30 AM 6 : 30 PM

Saturday, 9 : 00 AM 2 : 00 PM (rotating weekends)

Shifts may start at 8 : 30 AM or 9 : 30 AM

13-week temp-to-perm contract

Responsibilities :

Supervise and support pharmacy technicians

Deliver excellent customer service and patient counseling

Verify USP 800 non-sterile compounded prescriptions (verification only, no compounding)

Ensure accuracy and efficiency in a high-volume retail pharmacy setting

Requirements :

Active and clear New Mexico pharmacist license

Experience with non-sterile compounding verification a plus

Background in high-volume pharmacy preferred

New graduates encouraged to apply
