Job Title : Data Entry Clerk
Job Overview : The Data Entry Clerk is responsible for accurately entering and reviewing data in our systems, ensuring data integrity and consistency.
Responsibilities
- Operate common office equipment, like scanners and printers.
- Receive orders from various channels including phone, online, and other methods.
- Accurately enter data into databases or systems accurately and efficiently. Organize existing data in a spreadsheet.
- Inspect data for errors and perform data entry revisions as necessary.
- Search for and investigate information contained in files. Process and update records for returned items.
- Provide timely updates to clients regarding their request and resolve any issues or discrepancies.
- Generate orders for outbound deliveries.
- Tolerance for repetitive tasks
Requirements
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in a related field is a plus.
- Previous experience in data entry or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data entry software.
- Strong focus on accuracy and detail in data handling.
- Ability to sit for extended periods and perform tasks efficiently.
- High typing speed with minimal errors.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
