Evolving as a Graphic Designer by having...
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Minimum five (5) years progressive work experience in Finance or Accounting.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA), preferred.
- One (1) to three (3) years' experience within the mortgage industry is preferred.
- An equivalent combination of experience and education may be considered.
Exciting Opportunities to Grow by...
- Reconcile bank accounts daily and report any variances.
- Reconcile all credit line asset and liability accounts monthly.
- Reconcile all accrued payroll accounts monthly.
- Perform multiple General Ledger (GL) account reconciliations.
- Review and post daily transactions to GL and sub-ledgers when applicable.
- Review Accounts Payable entries and GL postings for accuracy.
- Assist with month-end financial closing process.
- Assist with year-end financial closing process.
- Assist CFO and Controller with internal and external audits and examinations as-needed.
- Perform various financial and accounting analyses with specific focus on balance sheet accounts and profit and loss variances.
- Resolve and communicate complex accounting issues.
- Other miscellaneous duties as assigned by the CFO, Controller, or direct report manager (i.e., miscellaneous corporate accruals, intangibles, fixed assets, etc.).
- Perform other accounting functions and analysis as needed.
- Participate in special projects and create ad hoc reports.
- Training and coaching team on various processes and responsibilities.
