Sentara Medical Group is seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our dedicated team at Sentara Albemarle Medical Center in Elizabeth City, North Carolina . This full-time position offers a rewarding balance of inpatient and outpatient care, allowing you to collaborate closely with our physicians in the hospital setting while managing patients independently in the clinic.

Position Highlights

Full-time schedule : Monday Friday, 7 : 30 a.m. 4 : 30 p.m. (1 2 days in office)

Inpatient care at Sentara Obici Hospital and Sentara CarePlex Hospital

Outpatient clinic with independent patient management

Average patient panel of 15 per day

Weekend rotation : 1 in 5 weekends (Saturday & Sunday, 7 : 00 11 : 00 a.m.)

Rotating call schedule : once every two weeks (nights, phone only not in person)

Duties include general follow-ups and new patient visits
