Charge Nurse ICU Nights
Description : RESPONSIBLE FOR :
RESPONSIBLE FOR :
Coordinates the delivery of quality nursingcare for patients from birth through the lifecycle, as well asoperational issues during his / her shift.
Provides clinical care asneeded when census demands. Communicates patient care, departmentalissues, and staff concerns to the appropriate leader(s).
Serves asresource for guidance and assistance to thestaff.
Qualifications :
MINIMUM EDUCATIONREQUIRED :
Graduate of a nursingprogram.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCEREQUIRED :
One year of nursing experience in ahospital setting required.
MINIMUMLICENSURE / CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW :
CurrentLicense in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC / eNLCMultistate License. BLS certification required.
ADDITIONALQUALIFICATIONS :
Two or more years of nursingexperience in a hospital setting preferred. Bachelor's degreepreferred. Advanced certification in field of specialty, ifapplicable.
Demonstrated clinical competency.
