Logistics Instrumentation Technician

Key Role :

Develops electronic systems and components to use within equipment or machinery ; supports other engineers to perform tasks when necessary.

Applies specific functional knowledge and working and general industry knowledge. Develops or contributes to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity.

Works independently with some guidance and reviews or guides activities of junior employees.

Basic Qualifications :

  • 5+ years of experience planning, developing, modifying, troubleshooting, and maintaining one-of-a-kind airborne instrumentation systems and upgrading their capabilities based on application of emerging te chn ology in aircrafts such as F-15E, F-16, F-22, and F-35
  • Knowledge of electronic principles and practices and the use of various pieces of electronic test equipment, such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, PLA / PLC programmers, telemetry systems, spectrum analyzers, oscillators, amplifiers, and power supplies
  • Knowledge of support of modification and operations activities
  • Ability to perform calibration and troubleshooting for installed instrumentation systems, including video recording, digital data recording, weapon function monitoring, and data collection systems
  • Ability to evaluate, upgrade, modify and operate instrumentation systems prior, during, and post operational missions
  • Ability to coordinate instrumentation requirements, schedules, and work plans
  • Ability to control electronic data collection systems using nonconventional modification hardware, interpret their capabilities, and plan, develop, construct, and integrate new devices into the system to perform multiple tasks not previously asso cia ted with aerospace or test and evaluation system capabilities
  • Ability to coordinate data reduction and analyze data to ensure instrumentation compatibility with data reduction capabilities and to monitor the validity of data and operational dependability of instrumentation
  • Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED

  • Top Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.

The projected compensation range for this position is $67,700.00 to $154,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
