Description
We are looking for a goal-oriented Grocery Team Member who thrives on being successful. El Rio Grande Latin Market offers professional opportunities for career growth and development to individuals seeking to make an impact.
Essential duties include, but are not limited to :
- Stock grocery items on to shelves and assure that items are neatly organized in the locations assigned.
- Safely use a cutting blade or knife.
- Organize, upkeep, rotate, and maintain back stock in good order and easily accessible.
- Oversee the quality of products before they are placed on sales floor for customers to purchase.
- Build neat and organized merchandise displays.
- Provide undivided attention and customer service to patrons.
- Know the location of merchandise.
- Suggest Company products and services to customers.
- Operate equipment and machinery such as baler, forklift, etc. based on operational needs.
- Other duties common to the Grocery department may be assigned by the supervisor as needed.
Qualifications
Skills / Qualifications :
- Minimum of 1 year of Grocery department, stocking experience preferred
- High school diploma / GED or equivalent work preferred
- Must be 18 years of age
- Bilingual (English & Spanish)
