Senior Estimator - Electrical Construction (Public Works)

Legacy Career Solutions is conducting a confidential search on behalf of a leading Southern California electrical contractor. We are seeking a Senior Electrical Estimator to help lead and supervise the estimating team and drive growth in the project pipeline. This position is suited for an experienced estimator with strong trade knowledge, industry relationships, and proven ability to bid and win projects up to $25M.

Responsibilities :

Lead the preparation of complete, accurate estimates for electrical projects ($300K–$25M).

Mentor and oversee a team of junior and mid-level estimators.

Leverage existing relationships with general contractors and clients to bring new business.

Provide guidance on preconstruction, value engineering, and risk management.

Represent the organization’s values while building client rapport.

Qualifications :

8+ years of electrical estimating experience.

Extensive public works estimating experience (K–12 schools required); hospital / healthcare project expertise (OSHPD / HCAI) highly valued .

Deep trade knowledge; ability to train and mentor estimators on best practices.

Strong client network in public works and a plus if you have healthcare construction esperience.

Proficiency in Trimble Accubid, LiveCount, Bluebeam, Procore, and related tools.

Ability to independently manage bids and deliver results under tight deadlines.
