Responsibilities for Production Supervisor Supervise the entire operations of the facility with an aim for high performance Assist with the onboarding process of new hires Provide training and educational materials to staff Conduct annual reviews for staff performance Ensure compliance with professional standards such as occupational health and safety and customer requirements Maintain a clean and safe working environment Monitor and prioritize workflow of production to meet deadlines Provide direction and schedules to the manufacturing department Assist in production areas when needed Other duties as assigned Qualifications for Production Supervisor Proven experience working in a supervisory role in a production, preferably a fabrication shop.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills Sharp production focus with a drive for accurate results Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Exceptional negotiation and conflict resolution attributes Flexible to work long hours as required to meet project deadlines Able to sit, walk, move around for long hours at a time Experience Metal Fabrication Machine Operation Production Scheduling Using and ERP System to make inventory adjustment 3 to 5 years supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting 3 to 5 years' experience working in a manufacturing environment Powered by JazzHR
