Quality Assurance Automation Engineer - W2 ONLY
Role is Onsite in Columbia SC - W2 ONLY
The candidate is responsible to create test automation using available tools such as; Selenium, Cucumber, TestNg and Eclipse.
Candidate should be knowledgeable with Jenkins CI / CD, Github, Java, SQL Test plan / matrix, and test strategies.
Candidate need to have a good understanding of Test automation such as Selenium, TESTNg, Cucumber. Be able to perform end-to-end testing, review current application and identify where automation can be added for effective deployment.
A Technical knowledge of SQL, Java, Github, Eclipse, Jenkins, web service, API is a plus.
Required Skills and Abilities :
- Excellent project planning, organization, and management skills. Strong analysis skills.
- Thorough understanding of data processing terminology, operations, and architecture utilized in debugging application / environmental problems.
- Skilled in negotiation and / or influencing business or technical partners.
- Ability to write complex test cases / scripts.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to write complex test cases / scripts. Ability to document complex problems and assist in their resolution.
- Ability to understand functional connections between applications. Ability to utilize test requirements, specifications, diagrams, logic functions, etc.
Preferred Skills and Abilities :
- Thorough knowledge of JAVA, WebSphere, Windows, and other middleware platforms.
- Knowledge of DB2, Oracle, IMS, and VSAM. S
- Strong analysis skills. Skill in Whitebox testing, integration testing, static testing, and 508 compliance testing utilizing JAWS software.
Required Education :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other job related degree. or 4 years of job related work experience or 2 years of job related experience plus an associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other job related degree
