Job Description
Reporting to Tampa Real Estate’s Cost Center Lead, the Business Generation & Operations Director will be responsible for leading and managing the day-to-day operational aspects of the Real Estate business for the Tampa Cost Center to support business as usual activity and enable the continued growth, support, and development of the business.
The Director will play a key role in the business achieving its growth objectives, including increasing revenue year-on-year, with a particular focus on the commercial real estate sector, and significantly growing the team and expanding and enhancing capability and development opportunities within it.
Operational management responsibilities to include :
Team Organization management of teams / functions to include recruitment interviews, resource planning / deployment, staff competency development, organizing mentoring and support.
Financial management budgeting, monthly fee / invoicing forecasting, accruals, staff utilization, costs, job profitability, monthly invoicing and forecast against plan, review of monthly management accounts.
Business Management lead assurance, quality reviews, director audits, processes, and systems to be utilized to support the successful and compliant delivery of our projects, including commission execution planning and risk management etc.
Working closely with the Territory Leads and MD on business planning, strategy for the Tampa business, and on the management and support of various internal committees to include wellness, social, EDI etc.
Working with our service leads, oversee and support leads plan and deliver key project activities, including knowledge shares, relationship management, new opportunity generation.
Accountable for management of operations in Turner & Townsend systems, including management of governance and performance processes.
Preparation of key cost center information for executive reporting.
Business development responsibilities to include :
Pipeline planning, bid coordination, bid writing and overseeing Associate Directors and Directors develop bids for framework call offs and new work.
Bid management driving best practice and leading on our larger strategic bids
Key Account Management (KAM) leading and driving the delivery of our brand plan through each of our account plans.
Identifying and acting upon cross-selling opportunities through service leads.
Establish service development initiatives with Service Leads (i.e. project management, cost management, digital, contract services, and sector leads) to include methodologies, systems, tools, and competencies.
Undertake business development activities, including meeting with new prospects, building local presence through attending industry events, coordinating lunch & learns with industry partners etc.
Manage coordination of the business development plan for the Tampa and Miami offices.
