Residential / Commercial Painters

Company is seeking 5-10 residential / commercial painters to assist on a 4-plex apartment project. Three-to-four month project in San Jose but if they do well, potential to go to other projects in the Bay Area past the three months.

Perfect fit is 2-5 years commercial / residential painting experience.

Paints, stains and varnishes using brushes and rollers. Cleans, sands, scrapes, and brushes surfaces in preparation for painting. Repairs surfaces to be painted including plastering and sheet rock finishing. May mix and match paint. Waterproofs surfaces. May refinish chairs, bookcases, desks and furniture. Sets glass and applies putty. Paints signs. Occasionally hangs wallpaper.

Skills : painter, journeyman painter, commercial painter, masking, paint prep, taping.

Additional skills and qualifications : 1+ years experience painting commercial projects. Speed and quality of painting must be able to prep and paint IOI Room in an hour. Have their own work boots and whites (white pants and white shirt). Must have their own brushes and rollers, paint will be provided.

Experience Level : Intermediate Level.

Pay Range : $25.00 - $30.00 / hr.
