Middle School Social Worker
Location : Laguna Niguel, CA
Position Type : Part-time (32 hours per week)
Duration : ASAP - June 5, 2025 (End of School Year)
Caseload : Middle School Students
Overview :
We are seeking a passionate and skilled School Social Worker to join our team for a part-time position supporting middle school students.
This role focuses on providing individual support to students, helping them navigate social, emotional, and behavioral challenges.
Responsibilities :
- Provide one-on-one support to students, addressing their social and emotional needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to develop and implement individualized intervention plans.
- Conduct assessments to identify student needs and progress.
- Facilitate small group sessions as needed to promote social skills and emotional well-being.
- Participate in team meetings to discuss student progress and strategies for support.
- Connect students and families with munity resources as appropriate.
Qualifications :
- Masters Degree in Social Work (MSW) required.
- Valid School Social Worker license or certification.
- Experience working in a school setting, preferably with middle school students.
- Strong munication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
