Head of CG Advisor Network Operations and Strategy

CG Advisor Network (CGAN), a division of CG Financial Services, is currently seeking a driven and insightful individual to lead and execute our Investment Operations and Strategy.

Utilize your leadership and industry experience to oversee our investment operations to ensure accurate and timely execution of trades, compliance with regulatory requirements, and efficient management of investment processes.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of investment operations within a Registered Investment Advisor framework and a proven track record of optimizing operational workflows to ensure success.

This is an in-office position located in Lansing, MI or Charlotte, NC.

Core Functions and Responsibilities :

• Own and lead the day-to-day investment operations activities and special projects
• Portfolio oversight including monitoring daily activities and portfolio execution
• Streamline key business processes and objectives
• Oversee and leverage provider relationships
• Vendor management, specifically Axxcess Wealth Management
• Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) on investment systems such as Orion, Eclipse, custodians; and new investment product development in alignment with CGAN’s Investment Strategy
• Develop and implement streamlined KPI reporting metrics to monitor and manage ongoing activities related to trading and ongoing productivity to CGAN’s investment portfolio and strategy
• Lead, mentor, and define accountability across the entire Investment Operations Team and Vendors
• Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory requirements, and emerging technologies to enhance investment services and processes
• Serve as an Investment Policy Committee Member

Required Skills and Experience :

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or equivalent work experience. Master’s degree or professional certifications preferred
• Minimum of five (5) years’ experience directly related to investment operations, preferably within a Registered Investment Advisor or financial services firm
• Deep knowledge of investment products, trade execution processes, and regulatory requirements
• Proficient in MS Office, investment management software, and trading platforms. Experience with Salesforce and Orion Advisor Tech preferred
• Excellent analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills to effectively create and execute strategic plans
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients, team members, and external stakeholders
• Demonstrated ability to effectively lead teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously
