job_description.job_card.job_descriptionInspect incoming and outgoing parts using precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers) Read and interpret blueprints to verify part dimensions and tolerances Perform random quality checks and document inspection results Conduct process audits and assist in resolving quality issues Support calibration activities and maintain accurate inspection records Collaborate with production and shipping teams to ensure quality compliance Minimum of 3 years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment Strong blueprint reading and measurement skills – this is a must Proficiency with calipers, micrometers, and related inspection tools Solid math and computer skills; familiarity with basic quality software preferred High school diploma or GED required Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check BCBS medical, dental, and vision insurance AD&D insurance and 401(k) plan Paid Time Off Monthly company lunches $60 boot allowance after one year Uniforms provided by Cintas at no cost Safe, structured workplace with opportunities for advancement

We’re seeking a Quality Control Technician for a metal fabrication and machine shop located in Columbia, SC. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire position offering long-term stability and opportunity for advancement.

- Monday through Friday, 7 : 00 AM – 4 : 00 PM
- $20.00 per hour
