Description

As Apple Cloud Infrastructure Quality engineer, you’ll develop frameworks for developers to better manage configurations and features across various data centers and cloud services.

You’ll also build tools for developers to enable continuous automated end-to-end testing practices prior to releases. You’ll design and implement solutions to enable monitoring of the tech stack across various environments.

This position requires practical knowledge of Kubernetes, public cloud platforms, software engineering, operations and automation.

Building and managing relationships with diverse sets of customers will be critical to ensure collective success. You’ll build preventative solutions essential to diagnose and improve products and services that touch hundreds of millions of users.

To be successful you should be self-motivated, flexible in your approach, and exude tight-knit collaboration skills, including the ability to mentor and be mentored.

Creativity, innovation and a persistent drive for result will be required to design user experiences for tools that have no parallel.

Minimum Qualifications

• Strong infrastructure development knowledge and experience
• Experience coding and building components of Kubernetes / VMs / Networking / Storage layers
• Experience developing end-to-end infrastructure testing and / or configuration management frameworks
• Proven ability to self-start, learn, plan, prioritize and deliver to deadlines
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role.

The base pay range for this role is between $166,600 and $250,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
