Job Summary
We are seeking an Operations Manager assistant at a school transportation company . In this role, you will assist in the optimization of the operational systems and processes of the company, maximizing efficiency and profitability while remaining compliant with all legal and regulatory requirements.
The ideal candidate has an analytical mind, and a proven track record as problem solver. Company will provide operational training only.
Candidate must have basic computer skills knowledge to apply. Candidate must be 21 years of age, hold a valid CT driver's license and be reliable.
Responsibilities
- Assist in all operational aspects of the business
- Communicate with professionals via email and telephone.
- Help implement and ensure all systems, processes, and procedures in place increase safety, efficiency and profitability
- Assist in fleet management, vehicle safety and operations
- Assist in the transportation of students to and from school daily
- Monitor performance and compliance for all employees
Qualifications
- Must have minimum high school diploma and outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Must have experience using Microsoft, Google suite, and basic office equipment
- Deep understanding of organizational effectiveness
- Vehicle (fleet) basic knowledge, must be able to change a tire, jump start a vehicle
- Must be able to work in fast pace environment independently
