The Vice President, Strategic Marketing is responsible for driving the company's strategic direction, overseeing product line management, and fostering both technical and commercial innovation across the organization.
The VP, Strategic Marketing will set the vision, roadmap and execution path for the life of all Barry-Wehmiller Filling & Closing (BWFC) Products, including Aftermarket products.
This individual will be instrumental in driving a comprehensive understanding of BWFC’s current and potential markets and developing and implementing strategies to deliver profitable growth.
As a key member of the BWFC Global Leadership Team (GLT), this role serves as a key Divisional strategic leader, developing both company and product strategies while ensuring profitability and growth.
Job Responsibilities :
Strategic Leader for BWFC developing both Company and Product Strategies
Own and manage all BWFC Product Lines P / Ls for full Product Lifecycle, from ideation to launch, aftermarket and sunsetting
Support BWFC Global Product Managers as they seek to enhance their Product Lines profitability through Revenue, Pricing, Costs, and Distribution initiatives
Drives company understanding of gaps and needs across the full family of product lines through active interaction with the Market, Customers, Competitors, Sales and Service Team, etc.
Driving force for Commercial and Technical Innovation
Ensure BWFC maximizes our potential aftermarket opportunities through the development of innovative product development, pricing strategies, etc.
Collaborate with Market Companies and Value Streams to align product roadmaps and global manufacturing strategies with market demands
Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
Drives organization to meet key market needs and trends (such as IoT, remote monitoring, and sustainability / material trends)
Meet customers to understand their needs, collect and consolidate their views on the market direction and support Market Companies when required through sales calls, presentations, customer seminars, etc.
Build World Class Strategic Marketing Team, including Marcom; positions BWFC for success in the market.
Education / Experience Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
10+ years of experience in strategic marketing or product management roles
5+ years of hands-on global marketing experience specifically focused on capital equipment
