Description
This role will report directly into the Engineering Manager and be responsible for
- Developing and Designing Experiments : Plan and design comprehensive tests and experiments to evaluate powder processing methods and optimize lithium-ion battery materials.
- Operating Equipment : Perform hands-on operation of powder processing equipment and instruments, ensuring proper setup, calibration, and maintenance.
- Analyzing Results : Evaluate and analyze test results to determine effectiveness, performance, and areas for improvement in powder processing and battery material quality.
- Identifying Improvements : Identify opportunities for enhancing processes, upgrading equipment, and optimizing pilot space to improve overall efficiency and product quality.
- Project Support : Provide support for various projects as needed, including troubleshooting, process development, and cross-functional collaboration.
Profile
The successful candidate will have
- Educational Background : Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- Professional Experience : Over three years of hands-on experience in powder processing or a related field, demonstrating expertise in managing and optimizing manufacturing processes.
- Industry-Specific Experience : Proven experience with lithium-ion battery materials or products, including familiarity with the unique challenges and requirements of working with battery technologies.
