Job Shift : Shift 1
Shift Details : Saturdays, Day or evening 8 hours shift. Three weekends per month.
Work as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the Inpatient Psychiatry unit to provide timely evaluation and initial treatment for patients in psychiatric crisis.
Collaborate with emergency department staff and on-call psychiatrist to develop care plans and ensure customer satisfaction.
This role also involves assessing patients in acute crisis situations, developing care plans, and discharging patients based on available resources within and outside the hospital.
Qualifications :
- Master's Degree in Social Work and State of Connecticut licensure required (LCSW).
- One or more years' experience providing crisis intervention services in a behavioral health setting.
- Experience with dual diagnosis, children, adolescents, and geriatric populations preferred.
