- Position Summary : Title : Labor and Delivery NurseShift : 12-hour days (6 : 45 AM - 7 : 15 PM)Contract Length : 13 weeksGuaranteed Hours : 36 hours / weekBonus : $1,000 completion bonus for starting by 11 / 11Experience Requirements : Minimum Experience : 2 years in an L&D settingLicenses / Certifications Required : Registered Nurse (RN) in CaliforniaBLS and ACLS (American Heart Association)NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)AWHONN Fetal Monitoring certification or equivalentUnit Composition : 8 LDR, 2 Triage (Pre-Op for C-Sections), 2 OR, 2 PACU bedsPatient Population : High-risk patients, high diabetic populationNurse-Patient Ratios : 1 : 1 for patients 6cm or greater dilated, on magnesium or insulin drips1 : 2 for all othersSpecial Procedures : Scheduled C-Sections followed through entire care;
external versions and cerclages performed only on day shift.
