Your Role :

The Senior Manager, IT BRM Cluster will own the enabled technology strategy and leadership to ensure alignment with Baxter strategy.

This role works with various levels of leaders in the organization to shape the digital strategy and value proposition of the company, while engaging in major initiatives that drive business growth and advocating how new technologies can improve the company’s speed, agility, productivity, and innovation advantage.

What You'll be doing :

• Develop and drive IT strategies to align with a high impact business agenda supporting the business, including the integration points between this function and other functional IT partners.
• Serve as Product Owner across multiple portfolios and establish vision and product roadmaps.
• Collaborate with vendors, industry consultants and senior company management to define information needs, develop cases and priorities, sustain service levels, and proactively lead business demands.
• Be a trusted advisor on helping the business to construct significant arguments for vital investments and the required organizational change activities.
• Understand and anticipate the direction of the business, find opportunities based on capability needs and make recommendations to support the desired future state outcome.
• Handle critical issue processes when delivery of services falls outside of the SLA.
• Connect with other product owners and managers to maintain alignment between product roadmaps and business needs.
• Lead spend and IT investments according to plan and ensure timely work during budget and forecast processes.
• Lead the demand and associated portfolio of technology investments for the business segment and / or division.
• Drive continuous improvement opportunities for end-to-end business processes and system interdependencies across multiple functions.

What you will bring :

• Highly skilled and experienced at negotiating conflict and problem-solving.
• Ability to influence others using personal rather than positional power.
• Deep understanding of market trends and the applicability of technology.
• Knowledge of lean product principles and software development lifecycle.
• Experience with user-centered design principles.

Education and Experience

• A bachelor’s degree in business or a related field such as technology, economics, computer science, data management, communication, marketing, or statistics.
• Minimum 5+ years’ experience working with business leadership in creating measured value of IT investment, including functional management and people leadership roles.
• 5+ years of experience with marketing enablement, sales enablement, contracting, customer experience.
• 5+ years of experience in life sciences.
• Certified Business Relationship Manager (CBRM) accreditation is a plus.
