Paralegal

Clean Harbors is looking for a Paralegal to sit in Norwell, MA . The Paralegal position will be primarily working in the area of contract review and management.

In addition, the position will support the General Counsel with a variety of tasks. A paralegal gathers, analyzes and organizes information, handles a workload of contract reviews and assists in managing the overall contract workflow.

Responsibilities

• Ensures Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times.
• Review and negotiate changes to transactional documents.
• Routinely, assist in house counsel in managing the contracts workflow.
• Check legal forms and documents for accuracy / consistency.
• Summarize documents and prepare reports as needed.
• Maintain various statistical databases required by management for reporting / auditing purposes.
• Draft routine / complex correspondence to internal clients, external counsel, customers and various local, state and federal agencies as directed.
• Serve as a communications link between and in house counsel and internal clients.
• Locate and communicate with internal employees.
• Other duties as required

Qualifications

• Paralegal Certificate, Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree required
• High School Diploma or equivalent required (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
• Contracts Paralegal experience is preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
