JobDescription :
New Heights CareerServices is seeking a highly skilled Controller to oversee all Foodand Beverage operations within our clients unit.
The idealcandidate will be responsible for analyzing information maintainingaccurate records assisting with accounting duties and providingtimely courteous responses to inquiries or complaints from clientsvendors andlenders.
Responsibilities :
Prepareand report monthly operating results to Accounting Leadership withdetailed varianceexplanations.
Supervise thepreparation of monthly operating statements ensuring compliancewith contractual obligations and Aramark policies andprocedures.
Ensure theaccuracy of the generalledger.
Review balancesheets quarterly with accountants and supervisors to ensurecompliance with companypolicies.
Ensure compliancewith company policies procedures and client contractual obligationsfor all locations.
Assistwith corporate reporting and address internal auditing reports andquestions.
Participate inspecial projects as required bymanagement.
Process andorganize invoices to ensure timely payment andreceipt.
Review ledgersstatements and balance sheets foraccuracy.
Record financialinformation and provide summaries asnecessary.
Recommend actionsto prevent budget misuse and reduceloss.
Maintain accounts byrecording identifying and verifying financialtransactions.
Followinternal accounting procedures and policies to ensure financialsecurity.
Attend conferencesworkshops and other informative meetings to stay current with newtechnologies.
Collaboratewith other accounting department members to ensure accuracy in allfinancial actions.
Report tothe Sr.Controller.
Qualifications :
Provenexperience in accounting or financial management preferably withinthe food and beverageindustry.
Strong analyticaland problemsolvingskills.
Excellent attentionto detail andaccuracy.
Ability to managemultiple tasks and meetdeadlines.
Proficiency inaccounting software and Microsoft OfficeSuite.
Excellentcommunication and interpersonal skills.
Bachelors degree inAccounting Finance or relatedfield.
